About Rebecca Stamelos
Rebecca Stamelos is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Art Therapist who works with children, adolescents, and young adults navigating trauma, identity development, and complex emotional challenges. She brings warmth, creativity, and depth into the therapy room, helping clients access healing through both words and expressive arts.
Rebecca believes healing is not one-dimensional. She integrates traditional talk therapy with art, sound, and narrative exploration to help clients process experiences that may feel difficult to articulate. Her approach is trauma-informed, relational, and grounded in deep respect for each client’s story.

She also contributed to launching an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) at a hospital in North Chicago and has experience working with both inpatient and outpatient youth populations.
Additionally, Rebecca has worked within a Chicago neighborhood school program supporting elementary-aged girls and collaborating closely with school systems and families.
