About Eliana Cohn

Eliana is a Licensed Social Worker who works with children, adolescents, and young adults, with a special interest in supporting families from early childhood through the college years. She brings a warm, collaborative, and strengths-based approach to therapy, helping clients build skills, confidence, and emotional insight across developmental stages.

Qualifications

Eliana earned her Bachelor of Social Work from Illinois State University and her Master of Social Work from Northeastern Illinois University in 2023. She is a Licensed Social Worker in the state of Illinois. Eliana has experience working in school-based settings as well as residential mental health environments, giving her a well-rounded understanding of how emotional, behavioral, and social challenges show up across home, school, and community settings.

Eliana works with:

  • Young children (ages 2–5) through a parent-coaching and play-based approach

  • Elementary and middle school-aged children

  • Adolescents and teens

  • Young adults and college-aged clients

Eliana is known for her calm, supportive presence and her genuine ability to connect with others. She grew up in Highland Park and now lives in Chicago. Outside of work, she enjoys taking walks, listening to music, doing puzzles, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
