About Madison Repak
Madison Repak is a Licensed Professional Counselor who specializes in trauma-focused therapy for children, adolescents, teens, and adults. She provides a calm, structured, and compassionate space where clients can safely process difficult experiences and begin rebuilding a sense of stability and control.
Madison understands that trauma can impact every area of life — relationships, mood, performance, and self-esteem. She works collaboratively with clients to help them process painful memories, reduce emotional reactivity, and move toward long-term healing rather than short-term symptom management.
In addition to her clinical work, Madison is also a mental performance consultant and supports athletes in strengthening focus, confidence, and resilience.
Education & Background
Madison earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Loyola University Chicago. She went on to complete both a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Master of Science in Sport and Human Performance from Adler University.
Her dual training allows her to integrate trauma-informed clinical care with performance psychology, making her uniquely equipped to support both emotional healing and high-functioning individuals under pressure.
Areas of Focus
Madison works with individuals, couples, and families experiencing:
- Trauma and PTSD
- Anxiety and panic
- Depression and mood disorders
- OCD
- ADHD
- Bipolar disorder
- Performance anxiety and mental blocks
She supports clients of all ages who are navigating the lasting effects of traumatic events, high stress environments, or ongoing emotional challenges.
Therapeutic Approach
Madison is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an evidence-based therapy designed to help clients process and reframe traumatic memories in a safe and structured way.
She also integrates Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), person-centered therapy, psychoanalytic approaches, and cognitive restructuring techniques. Her approach is trauma-informed, nonjudgmental, and deeply attuned to helping clients feel safe throughout the healing process.
Madison balances insight-oriented work with practical tools, helping clients reduce symptoms while building long-term resilience and emotional strength.
More About Madison
Outside of the therapy room, Madison enjoys spending time with friends, watching scary movies, and creating digital art. She values creativity and connection in her personal life just as much as she does in her clinical work.
