She also holds a master’s degree in Women and Gender Studies from Roosevelt University and a bachelor’s degree in Women and Gender Studies from Gustavus Adolphus College.

Specialties:

Rose enjoys working with adults who feel stuck in life and are unsure how to move forward.  She takes a whole-person approach to help clients explore past and present experiences.  She believes clients have the greatest insight into their own lives.  If you work with Rose, you will appreciate a collaborative and supportive therapeutic relationship.  She especially enjoys supporting women in life transitions, overwhelmed parents, and couples. She works with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, everyday stress, and life transitions, and has a particular interest in supporting those who are re-evaluating their relationship with alcohol. As a mom of three young children, Rose understands the realities of parenting and enjoys working with clients of all ages.

Therapy Techniques:

Rose utilizes evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing. Her background in Women and Gender Studies informs her work and allows her to approach therapy through a culturally responsive and inclusive lens.  She works from a solution focused and strength based approach.

More About Rose:

Rose enjoys spending time with her family.  In her limited free time, she likes reading, watching TV, coffee, exercising, and trying new vegetarian recipes.
