Job Description

The Organization
Cutting Edge Counseling of the North Shore is seeking a licensed and/or provisionally licensed therapist to join our unique, multidisciplinary team in which the candidate will serve alongside other seasoned therapists.
Purpose
The primary clinical responsibility of the psychotherapist will be to carry a caseload of psychotherapy clients at Cutting Edge Counseling.
Location
Staff therapists may work in a hybrid work arrangement from their home office and the practice office (located in Northbrook, Illinois).
Essential Job Responsibilities:

Provide psychotherapy that is empirically informed, theoretically grounded, culturally responsive, and relationally based.

Provide a timely response to all current or prospective clients and provide referrals when necessary.

Perform mental health assessments, identifying at-risk behaviors and develop appropriate treatment plan.

Document all services in EHR within established organizational timelines.

Build and maintain a caseload by meeting revenue targets.

Obtain two years of clinical supervision with satisfactory evaluations.

Work collaboratively with clients, external systems, colleagues, and operation staff, and in a culturally sensitive and appropriate manner.

Collaborate with team members on complex clinical or shared cases as appropriate.

Support organizational or administrative communication with clients

Minimum Hiring Specifications:

A well-developed assessment and therapy skill set and specialization in one or more therapeutic orientations, with special consideration given to CBT, ACT, Marriage Therapy or EMDR practitioners.

The following Illinois licenses will be considered: LPC, LCPC, MFT, LMFT, LSW, LCSW & Clinical Psychologist (PhD or PsyD).

Evenings (after school hours required) and some weekend availability is preferred.

Desire and eventual ability to carry a caseload of 20+ sessions per week.

Willingness to network and develop community relationships.

A capacity and desire to develop and implement successful and innovative clinical services or programs is a plus.

Willingness to work with different age groups
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: Up to $80,000.00 per year
