ADD / ADHD

Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, or ADHD, is a mental illness that affects the way you act and focus.  ADHD is usually diagnosed in school-aged children, but it can continue to cause problems into adulthood.  About two-thirds of people living with ADHD continue to experience symptoms as an adult.

If untreated, ADHD can become a serious problem affecting your child's academic and social life.  Please make an appointment today if you see symptoms like:

  • daydream a lot

  • forget or lose things a lot

  • squirm or fidget

  • talk too much

  • make careless mistakes or take unnecessary risks

  • have a hard time resisting temptation

  • have trouble taking turns

  • have difficulty getting along with others
