What’s your hope for each client when they leave your office?

  • My hope is that each client leaves my office feeling a little better than when they came in. I want to help people build confidence, develop good habits, and achieve their goals. My goal is to help people develop the tools and the skills necessary to help them feel more satisfied with their lives.

What is your favorite part of being a therapist?

  • I am extremely honored that I am able to meet new people and be a part of their life journey. My favorite part is helping people develop the tools they need and witnessing when someone experiences a breakthrough moment. It is truly a privilege to be able to be there for others in this way.

What’s something you would say to a potential client who’s on the fence about beginning therapy?

  • Trying anything new can be intimidating. Which means that it is completely understandable for anyone to be on the fence about beginning therapy. However, at some point or another, we all end up experiencing some challenges during life. I believe that therapy is an amazing resource that everybody should utilize to develop the tools we need to overcome these challenges and achieve our goals. Therapy provides a judgment free zone where you can get things off your chest and grow as an individual. If you are on the fence about therapy, I personally think you should try it.

How do you practice self-care?

  • I truly value the time when I can engage in self-care because it is really important to me. One of my favorite ways to engage in self-care is playing my guitar. I also really enjoy exercising, spending time with loved ones, engaging in breathing exercises, and going for walks with my dog.

Were you involved in any extracurricular activities either in high school or college?

  • In high school I wasn't involved in many extracurricular activities in because I started working young. However, I still found time to take guitar lessons and practice karate outside of school. During college, I became a research assistant and joined Best Buddies International which was an amazing experience.

What do you like to do for fun?

  • Some things that I like to do for fun are gardening, knitting, and hiking. I am also a big fan of music, so I really enjoy getting the chance to play my guitar or go to a concert.
